ABOUT
The Gospel Hall
What is it?
It is the meeting place of an Assembly of Christians who gather simply and solely in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The only one in whom there is salvation, Acts 4:12, and Whose name alone is set forth as the gathering center of the Church. Matt. 18:20
No denominational name is accepted as such seems inconsistent with New Testament teaching: that all children of God are members of the body of Christ, the Church; and are spoken of only as Believers, Brethren, Disciples, Christians and Saints - Names which belong to and are descriptive of all true Christians. Thus a basis is formed for a scriptural fellowship where true believers can enjoy all their spiritual privileges and assume their responsibilities. Acts 2:41,42
DOCTRINES BELIEVED AND TAUGHT
We believe the Holy Bible teaches, among other things:
Its own divine authority, absolute accuracy, and verbal inspiration. (2 Tim. 3:16: 2 Peter 1:21)
That the one true God eternally exists in three equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:4)
That Jesus Christ is the only begotten and eternal Son of God, miraculously born of the virgin Mary, and
the only One Whose life was absolutely sinless (John 1:1: Matt. 18,23; 1 John 3:5)
That man is ruined by the fall of Adam in Eden, and is universally and utterly sinful by nature, and that it is impossible for him to be saved by his own works or religious observance.
(Rom. 3:23; Eph. 2:8-9: Titus 3:5)
That man is entirely unfit for the presence of God in his natural state, and must be “Born again” before he can enter heaven. (John 3:3; 1 Peter 1:23)
That on Calvary’s cross, Christ fully and eternally paid the penalty of sin and completed the work of redemption. God attesting to this finished work in raising Him from among the dead and seating Him at His own right hand in heaven. (1 Cor. 15:17-20; Romans 4:25; Acts 2:32)
That in accepting Christ by faith the sinner is saved, is born again, his sins all forgiven through the merits of Christ’s blood shed on the cross. (Acts 16:31; John 1:12; Col. 1:14)
That all who are saved should be baptized by immersion in obedience to His Word. Also that they should remember Him by observing the “ Lord’s Supper” each Lord’s day. However, only those who are saved, clean in life and sound in doctrine are qualified to partake of this feast.
(Matt. 28:19; Mark 16:16; Romans 6:4; Acts 2:41-42; 20:17; 1 Cor. 11:23-26)
That all who die in Christ go to be “With Him” in heaven, but that all who die unsaved go down to hell into conscious eternal torment. (2 Cor. 5:6-8; Phil. 1:23; Psalms 9:17; Luke 16:23)
That Christ is coming again to rapture the living saints and raise the dead in Christ; later to establish His kingdom upon earth. (John 14:3; 1 Cor. 15:51-54; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 20:4)
That all the unconverted dead will rise again to the judgment of the “great white throne,” and will there be judged according to “ those things which were written in the books,” and finally cast into the “ lake of fire.” (John 5:28-29; Acts 17:31; Rev. 20:11-15)
If you are not saved, we have an interest in your soul’s eternal welfare, and we invite you to come and hear the gospel preached from time to time, for it is “The Power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth.” Romans 1:16
If you are saved, you will be most welcome at the Gospel Hall, and we believe you will find the spiritual food and fellowship that your soul requires and longs for as a child of God.
If you are a parent, we would be very happy to see your children at our Sunday School where only the plain and simple truths of the Word of God are taught to them.
You are invited, and will be cordially
welcomed at the Gospel Hall

SUNDAY SCHOOL
The purpose of our Sunday School is to teach through love and respect for God’s Word, the simple message which He has set forth in His Word. Through Old Testament stories and New Testament parables and teaching we see God’s plan for mankind.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:6
Plain teaching from Genesis 1:1 where we have divine creation to
Revelation 22:20-21 where we have the promise of Christ’s return.
We would welcome your children, along with yourself, to attend. We regard the Bible as God’s Word and final authority with lessons being taught before God as such.
Your child will be given a Sunday School paper each week with a Bible verse to memorize and lesson to read for the next week. This will teach not only the Bible but of God Himself.
When your child has attended Sunday School for three Sundays in a row or four out of five, they will receive a Bible for their own.
Children begin primary classes at age five and move up as they grow older.
